E-Mail a Large Part of Market Budgets for Businesses in the Coming Months

According to StrongMail Systems’ 2009 Marketing Trends Survey, businesses are gearing up to spend more of their marketing budgets on e-mail in the second half of 2009! In fact, 81% of responding businesses said they plan to increase spending on e-mail marketing, placing it at the very top of the list! To optimize their results, 45% of respondents said they plan to “grow their opt-in list” and 52% said they aim to “improve segmentation and targeting.”
