Customer Reviews Sway Budget Conscious Buyers
A survey by Jupiter Research and Bazaarvoice found that peer-influenced content like customer reviews can sway budget-conscious shoppers to buy! The study found that a large number--61%--of 'reluctant shoppers' can be positively influenced by content like reviews and ratings!
Brett Hurt, founder of Bazaarvoice, said, "Shoppers trust and use the opinions of others in making choices about products and brands...As consumers head to the Web to research online and offline purchases, companies have a tremendous opportunity to provide them with the authentic user-generated content that is proven to build confidence, increase satisfaction and drive sales."
